Rep. Paul Drucker announced this week that he has secured $1,000,000 in financing from the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program for the Paoli Intermodal Transportation Facility.  

The monies will fund the development of a solar program that will supply power to Amtrak/Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority rail operations. Rep. Drucker remarked that the solar project will immediately create 40 jobs locally, and that the overall project is expected to create an estimated 5,000 construction jobs and 2,000 permanent jobs.

Rep. Drucker was joined at the announcement by House Appropriations Chairman Dwight Evans, Peter Monaghan from Strategic Realty, Tredyffrin District 3 Supervisor John DiBuonaventuro, Marie Thibault from the Paoli Business Association, and Tim Connor of the Chester County Economic Development Council.
